Sending the link to the site to a broader audience this week, so I suppose I should explain the vintage textile business.
It's my little business. I love it. It is actually going quite well!
What's happening down on the farm this week? First, Rich adopted a fox.
The fox lives in the garage with it's pups.
Most people wouldn't want a fox in their garage, but Rich does.
No, we haven't got a photo of the fox -so here's the other wildlife:
The planting is going quite well.
The seed that was planted over the past couple of weeks has emerged into little plants.
Right now we've got peas, lettuce, radishes, fava beans and a variety of herbs and flowers just past the sprout stage.
We are optimistic that something will be ready in time for our participation in the
Fitchburg Farmer's Market
which happens in two weeks.
Someone asked if we had a house to live in, so I included a couple of photos of the homestead.
It looks much better on the outside than inside.
It is a work in progress inside, and the garden gets the attention right now.
OH - we had a visitor from CHICAGO - Michelle came and spent the evening.
She didn't run screaming down the driveway to get out, so she must have liked the place, even in disrepair.
Michelle is the first person I have seen on a farm in Ferragamos!
But she was even willing to tromp through the field and ventured into the barn.
